Where do we meet for check-in?
You’ll check in at the Pacific Whale Foundation Ocean Store, located at Maʻalaea Harbor Shops, right next to the Maui Ocean Center. It’s the perfect spot to kick off your adventure!
Are there any age restrictions for participants?
Not at all! With no minimum or maximum age limits, this adventure welcomes everyone—families, friends, and solo travelers alike are encouraged to join in on the fun!
When does the tour depart?
The dolphins are ready to greet you at 8:30 am, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from Maʻalaea Harbor. Don’t forget to bring your enthusiasm!
What should we bring on the tour?
A day under the Hawaiian sun calls for preparation! We recommend bringing sunglasses, a hat, and a light jacket to ensure your comfort during the adventure. Stay sun-safe and enjoy!
What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
The safety and enjoyment of our guests is our top priority. Please know that the Pacific Whale Foundation reserves the right to reschedule or cancel due to weather or sea conditions, but rest assured; you’ll be informed in advance about any changes.

Indeed! While you enjoy your dolphin adventure, you can also indulge in a selection of snacks and beverages available for purchase—including refreshing sodas, juices, and for the adults—Maui Brewing Co. beer, wine, and tropical cocktails (valid picture ID required).
Do we need to make a reservation?
Yes, it’s always best to secure your dolphin encounter in advance. Keep in mind that all reservations are non-refundable and changes cannot be made within 48 hours of your scheduled check-in.
