Due to the dynamic nature of active volcanoes, lava viewing conditions can change daily or even hourly. The best viewing of current eruptive activity is on our Twilight Volcano Tour. We will do our utmost to get you to the closest viewing area, as long as it is safe and legal.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing in layers; temperatures can vary from warm to cool. Remember, covered walking shoes are a must for your enjoyable journey through the wonders of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

This immersive adventure spans around 12 hours, allowing you ample time to explore the breathtaking landscapes, savor delightful local treats, and take in the awe-inspiring night sky.

Ages 5 and older are required to join the fun—this makes for an ideal family outing filled with exploration and discovery!

You'll be treated to a local-style picnic lunch, complete with assorted juices, snacks, and bottled water. After a day of exploring, we’ll enjoy a sit-down dinner at a charming restaurant near the park—all park entrance fees, jackets, and rain gear are included as well.

Our friendly team will pick you up from all major resorts and hotels in the gorgeous Keauhou, Kona, Waikoloa, and Kohala Coast areas—pickup occurs between 9:30 am and 11 am, with actual times varying slightly depending on your location.
